Maths Week
In Year 4, the children used their Maths lessons to solve a week-long problem about designing a funfair. They used their knowledge of area to plot out a funfair and then had to work out how much it would cost by calculating money. After that, they had to work out how much it would cost per day at their funfair and therefore how much they would need to charge their customers to get in!

W/C 15/1/18
The first couple of weeks of the spring term seem to have flown by and we have already got a lot of learning under our belts.
In our English work we have been using classic stories and poems (such as Alice in Wonderland and The Owl and the Pussycat) as inspiration to help us to write playscripts.

In science we have started to investigate the properties of solids and liquids.
Just a reminder that Mr Sinclair has replaced Mr Clark and will now be taking our P.E. lessons. These sessions will take place every Friday instead of the previously timetabled Thursdays!
