Which way now?!
Year 4 were trying to give each other directions. As you can see, some were more successful than others!
The girls looked a bit confused!
Hmmm, I don't think this work!
Looks like we are stuck.
She was taking me all around the pencils.
We watched and one of the boys went round and round in circles.
They look like they know what they're doing!
Later on we are playing grid games, we will let you know how it goes.

Who knew all these facts about the Amazon rainforest?! Ask our girls!
Another fabulous homework project!
Flag homework
As well as bringing us in delicious cupcakes with flag iced on, one of our lovely girls created a powerpoint on the flags to go with the cakes.
Kitty's latest homework project.
Kitty worked with Sara last half term on an amazing project on the rainforest and this half term she has decided to do a research project on sea creatures.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Breadalicious!
We have been making bread to improve our measuring skills. For the past week we've been looking at capacity and weight so Miss Carr said this was our chance to show how good we were! Challenge set!
We had to weigh accurately otherwise the recipe wouldn't work.
The boys had great fun making a mess!
The girls weren't much tidier!
This is my group showing how its done!
Our muscles grew in todays lesson!
We even managed to get the girls mucky!
Perhaps the bowl was to small for all of our hands?
We had to weigh accurately otherwise the recipe wouldn't work.
Even Miss Carr got messy with us! I bet she wants our bread!
We love maths lessons like this! Especially when we get mucky!

Some of our pieces of homework.
We have been absolutely blown away by the homework projects year 4 have been working on. The children have totally engaged with the topic Around the world and this enthusiasm can be seen in the work they have produced.
Here are just some of the pictures!

More pictures to come!

The igloo has started!
So after a few weeks of collecting we have started our igloo! We are having it as our own reading area so we are quite excited about it. Its going to take quite a while as the plan says about 428 milk bottles but we can see the shape starting.
Dylan and Corey made the base for us and measured out a circle so we had something to stick the bottles to then Fae and Boo started helping to stick the bottles down.
We think it will look amazing once its done!
